This workshop enables participants to

  • design, modified and adapt programs to meet the needs of special population

  • to understand gender differences and special considerations for female athlete and women in general who engage in resistance training

  • explores resistance training for children and  discusses safety issues  unique to younger resistance trainers

  • understand issues relevant to seniors who perform resistance training, such as loss of strength and power with aging and the benefits of resistance training to senior population.
