Hi-low, or high-low, aerobics classes combine traditional, low-impact aerobics movements with higher impact strength-training movements to create a comprehensive fitness routine.

ome dance gymnastics classes use stability balls as a vital part of the dance routine. You might sit on the ball as you move your feet and arms in rhythm to the music; twist and shift on the ball as your feet complete the steps of the routine; and lift the ball as you stretch up and then down, bouncing the ball on the floor before lifting it across your body in another stretch.
