Pilates Matwork Level – I & Pilates Matwork Level – II Certification
Level One
This course is the foundation of our training and whether you are a group exercise instructor, personal trainer or looking to change careers, this is our entry level training course. With the intensive format you will have first the face to face tutor time and then take personalresponsibility to practice after the course before taking the final assessment. There is a recommended minimum period of at least 4weeks teaching practice before your final assessment.
Level Two
This course is designed to introduce you to the original Pilates repertoire of 34 movements along with modifications and variations. Thegoal is to create a larger body of work to enable you to move your fundamental group mat work clients toward a more challenging traditional repertoire whilst still adhering to the Michael King Method protocol. Learn the movements, transition, appropriate stretching and class formatting. The course also involves homework and a focus on teaching skills and self practice. This course is not a physical test, the aim is to help you understand what areas of your own physicality andteaching practice needs attention. There is a recommended minimum period of at least 3 months teaching practice before your final assessment.

2) Spirals Certification Course 26th September 2011
Michael brings his programme for the first time to India which is a combination of dance based movements and stretching. The movements are also designed to use focus of the upper body both for mobility and stability work using the small weighted balls. Combinations which are used to specific choreographed tracks helps motivate the class into working towards a longer leaner and more flexible body.
3) Pilates Pregnancy Certification Course 27th September 2011
Pilates is an ideal form of exercise during pregnancy as it stabilises core muscles gently, works the pelvic floor, and moblilises andstretches the body. Post-natal classes are designed to help your regain your abdominal and pelvic floor muscle strength after giving birth, and realign your body. They are a fantastic way for new mothers to have some "me time" and feel re-energised by thoughtful exercise. This course is desgined to look at all the modifications needed to teach and design a safe Pilates programme for a client both post nataland ante natel.

Michael has been working with the Pilates technique for over 32 years. He originally worked with the technique as a dancer at the London School of Contemporary Dance. Michael æs reputation as a renowned presenter both in Fitness and Pilates has been established since 1980.
